Contact Lens Exams

Contact lenses are not a one size fits all product. There are many different sizes and lens materials, some which may work better for you than others.

For proper fitting, eye doctors take special measurements of the curvature of your eye to best select the curvature of your contact lenses. If the lens is too tight or too steep it could cause damage to the front of your eye potentially causing vision loss.

This is why it is important to have a yearly contact lens exam, to ensure your lenses are still fitting properly and not causing harm to your vision.

Wearing your contact lenses longer than recommended can also have a severe impact on the health of your eyes, so be sure you are cleaning and storing them correctly and disposing of them on your recommended schedule.

Dr. Siegel takes into consideration your lifestyle and visual demands to get you the best fitting lens with the most convenient replacement schedule to fit your life.
